The puppies are 14 days old. The eyes are already open and they are starting to explore the world.

We have puppies!!! On April 27, 2024, Gina gave birth to 9 little miracles, 5 females and 4 males. Everyone is fine, mom is taking good care of babies and they are settling into this world quickly :). Their high temperament can already be recognized :))). More details in the " Litter A" section.

Pregnancy confirmed!!! We believe, that everything will turn out well and at the end of April we will enjoy the desired puppies :). More information in the "Puppies" section.

The beginning of each year is also an opportunity to look back and remember the past year 2023. It was marked by exams and, of course, year-long work related to the performance of hunting. Despite the original intention to have Gina covered during the spring heat, we finally decided to try it again this year with higher tests. We've been training hard since early spring, sometimes we've both really had enough, but unfortunately we can't do without it.
The culmination of the training was Marián Korič Cup - Water and Forest exam at the end of July. Gina passed both exams in I. merit.
Shortly afterwards, thanks to good friends, we went to Serbia to train in the field, where the quail hunting season was starting. It was a beautiful experience, dogs in a short time had a lot options for pointing wild birds, and we silently envied the joy of the locals.
After returning, an international competition awaited us Field-Water, on which we also took advantage of the training in Serbia and Gina finished in the 1st merit on 2nd place with the title of CACT and R.CACIT.
A short rest followed Memorial of Štefan Krasňanský - Allround exam. A difficult challenge for both of us, because the competition was really strong. We managed the demanding two days and at the end we were happy with the 1st merit, 2nd place and CACT and R.CACIT titles.
The end of the test season was marked by Club Autumn exam, which Gina managed again in the 1st merit on 1. place with the third CACT title, thus fulfilling the conditions for awarding the title Slovak working champion .
I look at all our successes with great humility and gratitude, because without good people around me, all of this would not be possible and for which I owe them my endless thanks.
For us, the new year 2024 will be mainly focused on Gina's motherly duties and, if she can make it, maybe some competitions.
In the new year, I wish all of us steely health, a lot of happiness, a lot of beautiful experiences and a lot of great people around us.

We decided to end this year's exam season with the Club JSS organized by KCHMSDS on 16.09.2023 in Šali-Več.
A very pleasant atmosphere, as is traditionally the case at these exams, a meeting with friends and, although warm, but basically pleasant weather helped us manage this year's other challenge as well.
Except for bringing the hare, when Gina decided to go around me first and only then hand it over, everything went as it should and at the end we were happy with the final result and the last CACT that Gina lacked for the title of "Slovak Labor Champion" .
And now we have completely different worries waiting for us, perhaps very nice ones, and I believe that Gina will pass on her quality qualities to her offspring soon.

On September 2-3, 2023, we took part in the Štefan Krasňanský Memorial - International Breeders' Test, organized by the Slovak Club of Czech Mustache Breeders. 24 builders took part in the tests, 13 completed the tests successfully. Traditionally, an excellently prepared event, from the terrain, the background, the excellent cuisine to the very experienced jury, for which everyone deserves a big thank you.
It was a difficult challenge for Gina and me, as we both took part in such a top event for the first time.
We entered the competition with lot no. 1 and we started with a large field. It was searched in the overgrown turnips, for a while I didn't even see Gina in the high growth. But as always she gave it her all, the pheasant on display, successfully shot by a skilled shooter and then tracked down by Gina and correctly brought in, and the start was over. This was followed by a solo search and then small disciplines in the field, which we passed without a problem and ended the day on the water. The only hesitation in fetching a duck from deep water, when Gina didn't decide in front of me, but next to me, due to the mud under her feet and thus mainly my mistake, brought us the only three of the day.
Sunday was in the sign of the forest. The weather was very favorable, it was pleasant after the morning rain, the temperature was ideal and it went like clockwork. Gina didn't hesitate even once and went the way we had rehearsed until the last moment.
The result exceeded all expectations, so we ended up like this:

The club of breeders of coarse-haired breeders organized on 26/08/2023 the POLE-VODA international breeder trials, in which Gina and I also participated. 22 drivers with their dogs were present at the boarding.
We drew the number 16, which meant that we start with water and continue on the field. Not a very good combination, as the weather forecast was a hellish 34°C.
But the water ran as it should and the four of us continued to the big field in the afternoon and then to the search. We entered the big field at 2:00 p.m., the temperature did not disappoint, hot 34°C, but Gina started it in her own style, i.e. running "for the soul". I was worried for a while that she would run away at this rate, but she did. At the end, partridge exposure and, after successful shooting, also a warm search and it was over. The last two disciplines, the search for furry and feathered went right after the big field with the tongue on the ground, but it also worked out and we were glad that we managed it.
The final result pleasantly surprised us.
Gina finished the exams in the I. prize with 269 points as 2nd in order with the title of CACT and R.CACIT.

Our test period has started and we started it with the Marián Korič Cup, which took place on 29-30 July. 2023 in Budmericie and consists of forest tests and special water work tests. A total of 26 bettors were registered.
On the first day, Gina and I drew lots to work in the forest. I was a little worried that the famous big winter foxes would be an insurmountable obstacle for Gina, but she did. Long-term training with higher loads proved to be correct and confirmed the fact that even a smaller dog can cope with a larger fox. The weather was quite favorable and in a calm atmosphere our group of 14 dogs finished their work in the forest around 16:00. I was extremely satisfied with Gina's performance. She got the only two triples for the feathered and furry one, since the latter was not in the forest. Everything else for 4. Total number of 255 points.
On the second day, water was waiting for us. We went there believing that it would be easy and there should be no problem. But as usual, the strongest disciplines disappoint us the most. Even the weather was angry with us, it poured like a torrent. And so, from the search for ducks in the reeds, willingness and chasing in the reeds, 3 fell and it was clear that we can forget about a better overall position and we took away only 94 points from the water.
Overall, however, I am satisfied. We have a lot to fine-tune and improve.
We achieved the set goal, Gina won two more exams in the 1st prize and hopefully we will succeed in something more this year.
